Dem Senate Candidate Won’t Say If She’s Pelosi’s Puppet (VIDEO)

Nevada Democratic Senate candidate Jacky Rosen would not say whether or not she is Nancy Pelosi’s puppet during a Wednesday interview with MSNBC.

An attack ad by the National Republican Senatorial Committee accuses Rosen, a freshman representative challenging Sen. Dean Heller, of being “Pelosi’s puppet.”

MSNBC host Hallie Jackson brought up the ad, and asked Rosen point blank if she is a puppet for House Minority Leader Pelosi.

“I think anybody who knows me knows that I am a woman who speaks her mind, who has the conviction to listen to people, to go forward and look at things in a holistic way,” Rosen said, refusing to give a “yes” or “no” answer.

Jackson can be heard trying to interrupt Rosen’s dodge but is unable to cut in.

“That’s how I was socialized as a systems analyst, that’s how I continue to to govern, I have a lot of friends on both sides of the aisle, we’ve been able to put forth legislation in that sense, so I’m going to continue to do what’s right for my district while I’m here in Congress, and what’s good for Nevada when I win this Senate seat,” she added.

Luckily for Rosen, Jackson was out of time for the interview and didn’t get to press Rosen on the “puppet” question.
