DEAR CATHOLICS, ‘The Dogma Lives Loudly Within You,’ And The New York Times Hates You For It

The Left’s shameless assault on faithful Catholics participating in public service — knowing that their presence in branches like the judiciary would spoil their agenda of shoving godless laws by way of judicial fiat onto the American public — continued this week at The New York Times, which clearly views them as too “radical” for the mainstream.

Earlier this month, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) attempted to set a religious litmus test for nominees to the judiciary when she attacked Notre Dame professor Amy Barrett about her Catholic faith. “The dogma lives loudly within you,” Feinstein told Barrett, who is nominated to serve on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago.

The New York Times agrees with Feinstein’s assertion that the dogma living “loudly” in Catholics is problematic. In a new piece titled “Some Worry About Judicial Nominee’s Ties to a Religious Group,” Laurie Goodstein writes that Barrett’s Catholic faith does not belong in the mainstream for having ties to a religious group called People of Praise.

According to Goodstein, People of Praise is a radical organization that many “mainstream” Catholics — and by that, she means cafeteria Catholics that go to Mass once a year — would find abhorrent because it endorses oppressive concepts like . . . THE PATRIARCHY!!! – READ MORE
