Extra, extra, Mayor Bill de Blasio has revealed the slogan for his re-election campaign: “Let Them Eat Progressive Cake.”
It was a tough choice. A little birdie tells me the slogans that didn’t make the final cut included, “Our Homeless Shelters Are Insanely Popular” and “Most of Our Schools Suck But They’re Free.”
Another option, “Central Park Can Be Your Home,” was rejected as misleading. The park is so overrun with rats that the hordes of homeless can’t get any sleep.
