Colin Kaepernick Has Finally Received a Job Offer to Play Quarterback

Colin Kaepernick, GQ’s Citizen of the Year and the newly chosen winner of Sports Illustrated’s Muhammed Ali Legacy Award, has arguably become more known for his political antics than his on-field performance.

Last season in the NFL while he was playing for the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick famously knelt for the national anthem, wore socks depicting cops as pigs and even sported a Fidel Castro shirt.

Now, Kaepernick has finally received a job offer to play quarterback, but there’s just one problem — it’s not for a team in the NFL.

The Richmond Roughriders, an indoor football team in the American Arena League, offered Kaepernick a spot on their roster after rapper Jim Jones purchased a large stake in the team.
