Chelsea Handler said that women in the White House “should leave” if they care about the “fundamental rights of other women.”
“Any women that cares about the fundamental rights of other women should leave the WH,” the 42-year-old comedian tweeted along with a link to an article about political commentator Anushay Hossain blasting Kellyanne Conway for defending the Trump administration’s handling of Rob Porter. The former WH aide has been accused of domestic abuse by his former wives.

“I think that the reaction, this #MeToo movement, and this #TimesUp movement, is a direct reaction to Donald Trump being elected,” Handler said.
“I know 53 or 54 percent some argue–of white women voted for Donald Trump, and that made me sick to my stomach, because we’re voting against our best interests.
