Former Rep. Anthony Weiner is required to report to federal prison by Monday, according to multiple news reports.
The 53-year-old former congressman from New York was sentenced to 21 to 27 months in prison after pleading guilty to sexting a 15-year-old girl. Weiner’s facility reportedly houses over 1,100 male inmates who need medical or mental care, including sex offender treatment, ABC 7 reported.
As a rising star in the Democratic Party, Weiner’s career hit a wall after tweeting a sexually charged photo in 2011. Weiner alleged that his account was hacked, but later admitted he took the photo and resigned from congress.
