Two of America’s biggest beer companies Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors have teamed up to help Hurricane Harvey victims by sending drinking water to Texas.

MillerCoors is shipping a total of 50,000 cans of drinking water from its Shenandoah, Va., brewery to its Texas brewery. Red Cross trucks will be picking up and distributing the water to those affected by the devastating hurricane, where thousands have lost their homes and at least 14 have lost their lives.

Anheuser-Busch reportedly pauses beer production on occasion throughout the year at one if its locations in Cartersville, Ga. They designate their time and resources into producing emergency canned drinking water to help when a disaster hits.

More than 50,000 cans of emergency drinking water will be sent from the brewing company’s factory in Cartersville, Anheuser-Busch said in a tweet Tuesday.

“Throughout the year, we periodically pause beer production at our Cartersville, Ga., brewery to produce emergency canned drinking water so we are ready to help out communities across the country in times of crisis,” Sarah Schilling, a brewmaster at the Anheuser-Busch brewery, said in a statement.

“Putting our production and logistics strengths to work by providing safe, clean drinking water is the best way we can help in these situations,” Schilling said.
