Air Force pilot Maj. Troy Gilbert made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for his country 10 years ago, and finally his family has some much-needed closure.
Maj. Gilbert died in an F-16 crash in Iraq on Nov. 26, 2006, after he had saved more than 20 special operators during a combat mission, but al-Qaeda insurgents took his body before U.S. forces could recover it from the crash site.
His body has since been recovered and will be laid to rest this weekend at Arlington National Cemetery. – READ MORE
