Actress Annabella Sciorra slept with a baseball bat by her bed for 20 years after Harvey Weinstein allegedly raped her in the 1990s, according to a Friday interview.
Sciorra told The New Yorker that Weinstein first raped her in the 1990s, and then sexually harassed her throughout subsequent years. Following the traumatic incidents, Sciorra claims that she still sleeps with a baseball bat by her bed, just in case he showed up at her house again.
The actress starred in Weinstein’s film, “The Night We Never Met,” and says that he threatened to sue her for not wanting to start filming earlier, which sources close to the producer deny. Following the filming, Sciorra says she became part of the “circle of Miramax”.
