Actress Natassia Malthe has become the latest woman to publicly accuse disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of rape.
In a press conference Wednesday in New York City alongside her attorney, Gloria Allred, the actress recounted an alleged incident shortly after the BAFTA Awards in 2008, in which Malthe said Weinstein burst into her London hotel room and proceeded to masturbate in front of her, before eventually allegedly raping her.
“I was startled and awakened by repeated pounding on my door in the middle of the night accompanied with Harvey Weinstein yelling ‘open the door, Natassia Malthe, it’s Harvey Weinstein,’” the actress said during the press conference, according to the Daily Mail. “I was mortified and humiliated. There were many industry people staying at the hotel. I was worried that everyone would wake up and think that I was sleeping with him.”
