Actor James Woods may be known for espousing his political points of views on Twitter, and even getting in trouble with the platform’s reviewers more than once, but on November 8, 2018, he used Twitter for all the right reasons.
As the deadly California Camp Fire obliterated Paradise, California, Woods consolidated resources, created a hashtag, and provided a one-stop information center for those in need of evacuation routes, information on lost loved ones, help to find nearby shelters, road closures and more.
Woods worked throughout the day sharing the hasthtag #CampFire and then created #CampFireJamesWoods that when viral.
