12 Philly Punks See 1 Soldier Wearing Army Jacket, Brutally Beat Him for No Reason
A U.S. Army soldier’s future career in the military remains uncertain as he attempts to heal from a devastating beating he received at the hands of an angry mob while home with his mother for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
According to the Philly Voice, 19-year-old Austin Freni had accompanied his mother and girlfriend to the Mummers Parade on New Year’s Day, but was assaulted by a group of about a dozen men afterwards who apparently took issue with Freni’s army jacket.
Freni was listed in good condition at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Center City, but he had long road of recovery ahead of him. – READ MORE
