On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” anchor Wolf Blitzer told Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) that it seemed “hypocritical” for Democrats to support Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein’s recount efforts when Democrats would have “adamently opposed” a similar move by Donald Trump had he lost.
Blitzer said, “[T]his is exactly the fear, if Hillary Clinton would have won, the Democrats were all afraid that Donald Trump wouldn’t accept it, he would demand recounts, and this would go on and on and on. So it sounds a bit hypocritical to observers who are watching all of this.
