While Riots Leave Charlotte Broken, Hillary Clinton Piles On: Police Shootings are ‘Unbearable’
The Democratic presidential candidate stoked the flames of Black Lives Matter protests on Thursday by condemning the recent police shootings in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mrs. Clinton slightly hedged her language, but called the police shootings “unbearable” and “intolerable”:
“There is still much we don’t know about what happened in both incidents, but we do know we have two more names to add to a list of African-Americans killed by police officers in these encounters,” she said. “It’s unbearable, and it needs to become intolerable.”
It’s surprising that she didn’t also call the situation “deplorable.”
