Democrats condemned Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) on Thursday over sexual abuse allegations by a former model and radio show host.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) joined Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in calling for an ethics investigation, while multiple Hollywood celebrities called on Franken to resign.
Then, there was MSNBC’s Chris Matthews.
During a segment of “Hardball” on Friday, Matthews chose to use the Franken story to slam President Donald Trump.
