The 2016 U.S. Presidential race is now officially a circus, made complete with a Spanish-speaking midget who also bakes cookies.Yes, this is a real story folks.
Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, Hillary Clinton appears on Univision TV’s El Gordo y La Flaca (translation: The Fat Man & Skinny Lady) and gets Spanish lessons from Carlito, the network midget. Or little person. Or bearded lady. At this point, it could be any stereotypical member of a traveling circus to help cap off this insane election cycle. What difference, at this point, does it make?
This level of pandering, even for the Democrats and Clinton, has reached a new low. No pun intended. Carlito the midget, dressed like a computer geek, tutors Clinton to help her learn new Spanish terms. La corrupción was not one of the words, however.
Hillary, propped up in a chair by stealth back pillows, actually seems excited, or confused. Perhaps news of her misadventures with mishandling top secret emails, Benghazi, and missing $6 trillion as secretary of state has not yet reached the Latino community via Univision’s incredible objective news reporting. Or was it $6 billion? What difference, at this point, does it make?
Or perhaps, Hillary’s chronic lies are better shrouded from an audience who speaks English as a second language or doesn’t speak it at all, as the segment included a live Spanish translator. This could be a whole new market for Clinton since her American supporters can’t seem to comprehend basic English either.
Later in the segment, Univision’s hard-hitting news anchors asked Hillary tough questions like what kind of food she enjoys. Hillary pulls her trusty hot sauce line out, this time to try and impress the Latino community instead of the African American electorate. Moments later, Carlito the midget delivers a dish of chocolate chip cookies to Clinton.
Hillary then divulges the secrets of her personal chocolate chip cookie recipe, which she boasts, has “won a contest,” leaving conservative American viewers to ponder how Hillary rigged a cookie bake off.
It appears that recipe wasn’t deleted from her personal emails.
