Embattled MGM security guard Jesus Campos, lauded as the hero of the Mandalay Bay Massacre, fled the United States within days of the Oct. 1. shooting, law enforcement sources confirm.
Campos’ crooked security union which has a history of corruption too now confirms Campos fled to Mexico. This after the union boss, who had his home previously raided by federal agents, said for days he had no idea where Campos was hiding.
MGM also lied about Campos’ whereabouts after placing a gag order on him and hiding him from the media for weeks.
Campos has since returned to the United States.
