They drop a ball in Manhattan once a year but CNN drops the ball every night. New Year’s Eve was no exception.
Instead of showing or interviewing revelers in New York City, or commissioning musical artists to perform, CNN broadcast a bizarre segment where an inebriated Don Lemon swilled from a shot glass and then had his ear pierced after Anderson Cooper and other CNN “talent” egged him on, at one point chanting at Lemon to have his nipple pierced.
This might actually be better TV than Don Lemon’s actual news segment.
