No one from North Jersey, birthplace of the Sopranos, is surprised that Sen. Cory Booker is planning to rat out Sen. Jeff Session during the latter senator’s confirmation hearings for Attorney General.
The rest of America, however, doesn’t like a rat.
Booker has announced he will testify against Sessions. U.S. senators normally don’t rat out other senators, regardless of whether it is a political stunt or not. And Booker is the king of stunts, having been previously accused of staging his alleged rescue of a woman from a burning building in Newark, NJ.
This stunt, however, may end up with Booker’s yet-fledgling career ending up in flames.
