UH-OH: Democrat And Republican Senators Seek To Stop Deportations Under Trump

Democrat and Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee are currently working on legislation to stop mass deportation under a President Trump, which they hope to get passed before the president-elect takes office in January and repeals President Obama’s executive amnesty orders soon after, as Trump repeatedly promised on the campaign trail.

Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin and Republican Senator Lindsey Graham are drafting legislation which will stop the deportation of children living in the country illegally if they grew up in the United States and have not committed a felony.

Although Trump has softened on his hard-line deportation stance of that of Campaign Rally Trump–now mainly focusing on criminal illegals–the senators are fearful that his possible repealing of executive orders, such as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), will punish hundred of thousands of “vulnerable” young people who would be forced to drop out of school, quit their jobs and face deportation because of the sins of their parents. – READ MORE
