Trump Hints That New FBI Director Could Be Chosen Before Friday by Josh Billinson.
While speaking to reporters on Air Force One Saturday, President Donald Trump explained that he could nominate a replacement for now-former FBI Director James Comey sooner than anyone may have thought.
“These are outstanding people that are very well known. Highest level,” Trump said when asked if he is planning to make an announcement soon. Pressed as to whether he could make his nomination before departing for an international trip on Friday, Trump offered up a bit of insight into his decision process.
