Texas Shooting Victims Ranged in Age from 18 Months to 77 Years

At least 26 people were killed when a man opened fire during a service at a Baptist church in Sutherland Springs, Tex., on Sunday.

The gunman, who has been identified as Devin Patrick Kelley, 26, died shortly after the attack.

The victims of the shooting ranged in age from 18 months to 77, the authorities said on Monday. Among the dead were several children, a pregnant woman and the pastor’s 14-year-old daughter. Of the people who died, 23 of them were found dead inside the church, two were found outside, and one died later at a hospital.

At least 20 more were wounded.

The authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims. But family members and friends in the close-knit, small town of Sutherland Springs have begun to share stories about the people who were shot.
