TOKYO (Sputnik) – South Korea’s Defense Ministry braces for a possible new nuclear detonation or a missile launch by the North ahead of an upcoming anniversary next week, the South’s media reported Friday.
“Starting today, the military will maintain heightened vigilance against any provocations by the North,” a Defense Ministry official was quoted by the Yonhap news agency as saying.
