Somali Refugee Resettlement Up 250 Percent Under Obama
The annual admission of Somali refugees under President Obama has soared by 250 percent from the time he took office in January 2009.
According to the U.S. Department of State, the United States took in 2,523 refugees from Somalia in fiscal year 2008, just before President Obama took office.
That number jumped to 4,189 during Obama’s first nine months.
Since then, the number has shot up to 8,852 Somali refugees admitted to the United States in 2015, a 250-percent increase. – READ MORE
