A quick sketch of the Manhattan skyline drawn and signed by President Donald Trump sold at an auction Thursday night for nearly $30,000, The Hill reported.
The sketch dates back to 2005 and was originally drawn and submitted to a charity auction promoting worldwide literacy. According to artnet News, the original 2005 auction winner consigned the drawing to Los Angeles-based Nate D. Sanders auction house where it sold Thursday for $29,184.
The drawing, which shows a basic overview of New York City’s skyline, features Trump Tower in the center of the picture. Eleven different bids, starting at $9,000, were submitted for the sketch, The Hill stated.
