Ronald McDonald is hanging up his giant red shoes until the global clown crisis dies down.
Golden Arches brass said their friendly, red-headed mascot won’t make as many cameos at community events amid an epidemic of scary clown sightings.
“McDonald’s and franchisees in the local markets are mindful of the current climate around clown sightings in communities, and as such are being thoughtful in respect to Ronald McDonald’s participation in community events for the time being,” spokeswoman Terri Hickey said in statement. – READ MORE
