A woman was severely injured early Wednesday morning when angry protesters took to Berkeley streets in response to Donald Trump being elected as the United State’s 45th president, according to social media reports.
The Daily Californian reported on Twitter that a woman was struck by a car “as part of the protest” at Telegraph Avenue and Highway 24. A firetruck and ambulance were called to the scene, and police urged protesters to go home, the student newspaper said. – READ MORE
