North Korea has responded angrily to this week’s US-South Korea naval drills, which include exercises targeting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, calling them a “severe provocation” that is pushing the peninsula toward crisis.
North Korea’s Worker’s Party newspaper Rodong Sinmun said a “pre-emptive strike on North Korea is a prelude to self-destruction,” in an October 12 statement, UPI reported. – READ MORE
