Priorities: After New York City Bombing, Obama Lectures Press For Terrorism Reporting
President Barack Obama addressed the nation after a series of terrorist attacks took place in the United States over the weekend, but appeared unaware of reports that said the suspect connected with the bombs in New York was already in custody.
Obama revealed that the FBI identified a “person of interest” in the case, and asked American citizens to report any possible details to law officials.
“I ask that the press try to refrain from getting out ahead of the investigation,” Obama said, adding that “it does not help if false reports or incomplete information is out there.” He asked the media to only report what official experts revealed about the investigation. – READ MORE
