WASHINGTON — Two days before Election Day, new polls out Sunday show an extremely tight race nationally and in toss-up swing states.
The Real Clear Politics Average of national scientific polls shows Hillary Clinton ahead of Donald Trump by 2.2 percentage points — 44.9 percent to 42.7 percent for Trump. Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 4.8 percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein at 1.8 percent.
And in key swing states, Clinton and Trump are in virtual tie. In the high-stakes state of Florida, the race is deadlocked at 45 percent, according to the CBS News Battleground Tracker poll. Trump has the edge in Ohio 46 to 45 percent. – READ MORE
