Europe has been rocked my numerous major terrorist atrocities in the last 18 months. Several coordinated attacks in Paris killed 130 people in November 2015, bombers killed 35 people in the Belgian capital in March, and in July, a terrorist killed 86 and injured more than 400 in Nice, France.
