Mattress Store Uses Kaepernick Jersey As Doormat
CRESTWOOD, Ill. (CBS) – A Chicago-area store owner is using a replica of Colin Kaepernick’s jersey as a doormat to protest the San Francisco 49ers quarterback’s decision not to stand during the national anthem.
Dave Gerwing, who owns a mattress store in the suburb of Crestwood, placed the replica in front of his business and with a sign inviting customers to wipe their feet, CBS Chicago reported.
“Sitting down on your butt is nothing more than a disservice and disrespect to the people fighting for our rights,” Gerwing said. – READ MORE
