A mattress promoting a tone deaf 9/11-inspired sale on the tragedy’s 15th anniversary announced Friday that it is closing its doors indefinitely. The decision came after a deluge of condemnation came the store’s way on social media.
Announcing on September 7 that all mattresses would be sold at “twin prices” for a “Twin Tower Sale,” Miracle Mattress of San Antonio, Texas, was quickly on the receiving end of angry and puzzled tweets and messages on social media.
