President Donald Trump said at his rally in Alabama on Friday that he wishes NFL owners would fire any player who disrespects the U.S. flag and national anthem by declaring they should “get that son of a bitch off the field.”
“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, he’s fired!’” Trump exclaimed.
