Ruth Marcus, liberal columnist and an editor for the Washington Post, admitted Friday it will be awkward if former president Bill Clinton moves back into the White House, given that he “encompasses the twin minefields of sex and money.”
In a column published Friday, Marcus said a potential “first gentleman” Clinton would need to stay as hidden as possible.
“Having him back in the White House if his wife is elected president creates an uncomfortable situation,” wrote Marcus. “It shouldn’t stop her from getting the job, but it can fairly shape what we want and expect of him as First Spouse. – READ MORE
