Lewandowski: Franken’s resignation is ‘street justice’

Corey Lewandowski on Sunday said Minnesota Sen. Al Franken‘s (D) decision to resign amid allegations of sexual misconduct is an example of “street justice.”

“In New Hampshire, Howie, there’s something called street justice,” Lewandowski, President Trump‘s former campaign manager, told host Howard Kurtz on Fox News’s “Media Buzz.”

“If you do that to somebody that is asleep, a woman, it’s disgusting. He’s a pig. He should’ve resigned,” Lewandowski said.

His remarks referred to the allegations leveled against the senator by radio host Leeann Tweeden, who said Franken kissed and groped her without her consent during a 2006 USO tour.
