Kindergartner bags massive deer under new hunting age law

A Wisconsin 6-year-old wasted no time killing a deer after a new state law was passed eliminating the state’s minimum hunting age.

Just a week after Gov. Scott Walker signed the bill into law on Nov. 12, Lexie Harris and her dad, Tyler Harris, headed out to the woods near their rural home in Tyler County to bag a buck.

The duo headed to a heated enclosure built by Tyler where they waited until they would get a good shot.

When a six-point buck walked into their view, Tyler set Lexie up for a shot with the youth rifle he bought her and the kindergartner pulled the trigger, striking and killing the animal.
