Kids school pharma bro, recreating $750 drug for mere $2

Notorious pharma exec Martin Shkreli is downplaying the success of high school students who recreated his $750 life-saving medication for just $2, saying “anyone can make any drug” and denying he got “owned” by the junior scientists.

“Glad the kids are learning about science,” Shkreli posted on Twitter early Thursday. “Not sure how anyone got ‘owned’ lol.”

Shkreli — dubbed the “most hated man in the world” last year after jacking up the price of anti-parasitic drug Daraprim from $13 to $750 per pill overnight – was responding to messages celebrating the feat by 11 chemistry students from Sydney Grammar School under the guidance of Dr. Alice Williamson from the University of Sydney. – READ MORE
