Former FBI Director James Comey wrote about the hallmarks of good leadership on Twitter Sunday shortly after President Trump took to the same social media platform to vent his frustration with the parent of one of the UCLA basketball players detained in China for shoplifting.
“’A good leader takes a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit,'” Comey tweeted, quoting American businessman Arnold H. Glasow.
Earlier, Trump lashed out at LaVar Ball, the father of UCLA freshmen LiAngelo Ball, who responded, “Who?” when asked by ESPN to comment on Trump’s involvement in negotiating the release of his son with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
