House Republicans will move next week to shut down the Obama administration’s practice of forcing companies to donate to left-leaning groups as part of settlements they reach with the Justice Department.
The GOP has been up in arms for the last few years about these arrangements, which they say help Obama funnel money to groups he supports, outside the regular appropriations process, and short-change consumers who should be the beneficiaries of these settlements. – READ MORE
