The terror attack in Nice has shocked the world, but rough figures reveal something even more appalling – far more people have been killed by terrorists in France under president Hollande in the last two years than in the previous 100.
Between 1914 and 2014, some 150 people were killed in bombings, targeted assassinations, and plane hijackings, the deadliest of which occurred in 1961, when 28 people were killed in the bombing of a Strasbourg-Paris train carried out by a far-right paramilitary organization opposed to the independence of Algeria called Organisation de l’armee secrete (OAS). – READ MORE
