Add former Los Angeles mayor and 2018 California gubernatorial candidate Antonio Villaraigosa to the list of people who believe that Kamala Harris will be running for president in the near future.
Appearing on MSNBC Sunday morning, Villaraigosa was asked by host Hugh Hewitt whether or not Harris “has a stake” in the California governor’s race in 2018.
Villaraigosa responded, “Well, not yet. I hope she will support my candidacy, but as you say, she is a great candidate. She’s going to be knocking on doors in Iowa, I expect.”
