A harebrained scheme by a trio of Bronx bozos to hold up a check-cashing store while disguised as bomb-wielding Muslims on Sunday’s anniversary of 9/11 fell apart after one of them squealed to cops, police sources said Wednesday.
The goons had planned to hold up David’s Check Cashing on Bruckner Blvd. in Unionport on Sunday morning dressed in Muslim garb and waving their fake bomb, police sources said.
The bomb, later recovered by cops, consisted of a handful of harmless road flares wrapped together with a voltage meter as a fake timer, sources said. – READ MORE
