Reba McEntire is one of the few modern celebrities who refuses to talk politics.
The 63-year-old country singer recently told ITK that talking politics has nothing to do with her job as an entertainer.
She said of talking politics, “That’s not my job.”
Though she stays away from politics, she said, she also doesn’t condemn celebrities who do get politically involved.
“That’s why it’s so great to live here in the United States of America,” she said. “You can vote in and you can say what you want to and you can choose not to say what you want to.”
It’s not the first instance in which McEntire refused to engage in politics.
