Liberal social justice: Is there anything it can’t ruin?
The once-successful comedy site “Cracked” has just laid off a large swath of its staff… and observers have noticed that it coincided with a dramatic shift to left-leaning and preachy social justice content.
“Cracked has given the pink slip to most of its main contributors and senior editorial staff after a tumultuous run following its embrace of social justice politics,” reported the website Dangerous.com.
Many former employees of the formerly humorous website confirmed the layoffs on social media.
“Several of my very good friends lost their jobs today at Cracked,” posted Soren Bowie, a fairly well-known face who was featured in the Cracked video series “After Hours,” which poked fun at TV and movie tropes.
