Ahmed Mohamed, better known to most Americans as “Clock Boy,” first became a household name when he “built” a clock that teachers at his school in Irving, Texas, mistook for a possible bomb.
After it was determined to simply be the guts of an alarm clock wired into a pencil case, President Obama reached out to Mohamed and invited him to bring the clock to the White House.
Mohamed and his family subsequently accepted a full scholarship to a school in Qatar, but later complained that they did so mainly because the school in Irving had become a hostile environment. Mohamed’s father is pursuing a $15 million lawsuit against the school district and the city.
But on Monday, news broke that the family was not quite finished with the American legal system — they have just announced a lawsuit against Fox Television Stations and The Blaze, as well as individual pundits Glenn Beck and Ben Shapiro. – READ MORE
