U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents work tirelessly to prevent a myriad of objects from entering the U.S., but what they just discovered is bologna.
According to CBS DFW, agents seized more than 200 pounds — about 100 kilos — of unclaimed contraband bologna recently at the border between the U.S. and Mexico.
Officials said they stopped a woman who had crossed into the U.S. through the Paso Del Norte crossing in El Paso, Texas, after she told agents that she wasn’t carrying any vegetables, meat, fruits, or any other illegal contraband.
Agents reportedly found 23 tubes of bologna hidden beneath the rear seats of the woman’s car and hidden in her trunk.
