Airport worker haunted by letting 9/11 hijackers on plane
The unsuspecting Dulles airport worker who helped two harried 9/11 hijackers get through check-in and onto American Airlines Flight 77 recalls feeling major guilt over it.
Terrorist brothers Salem and Nawaf Alhazmi came “running in the front door looking around and didn’t know which way to go” and were about to miss their flight when Vaughn Allex stepped in to help get them checked in and onto the doomed plane, Allex said in a recent interview.
The jet was soon hijacked by the men and crashed into the Pentagon, killing 189.
