Five people were hospitalized following a gas explosion at an oil field in western Kansas.
The explosion happened at around 7:30 a.m. MT, southwest of Sharon Springs in Wallace County. Chief Jay Sharp with Rural Fire District 2 said workers were checking the gas with a test bit when something caused the gas to leak out of a pipe fitting. – READ MORE
